Election of District Councillor
for the Ward listed below

Ward: Colden Common & Twyford
Number of Councillors to be elected: One

1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ, during the times stated
above or can be requested by emailing ereg@winchester.gov.uk.

3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 1st May 2025.

4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Friday 11 April 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ by 5 pm on Monday, 14th April 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote or contact the
Electoral Registration office direct.

6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday
23 April 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate.

7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ
by 5 pm on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025. You can find information and, dependent your proxy type, apply online at https://www.gov.uk/how-to-vote/voting-by-proxy.

8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ by 5pm on Thursday, 1st May 2025.
